Abstract
Clinical investigations were carried out in 290 patients with portal hypertension. The patients were divided into 4 groups according to the site of the obstruction to the portal and hepatic veins, whether it is extra-or intra-hepatic. Mechanisms on ascites formation and Splenomegaly were discussed.
