Abstract

Today's race to the technology leader causes design engineers to use more and more programmable logic in their designs in order to hit that shrinking market window. This paper elaborates on the implementation problems a design engineer faces, and introduces a technology-independent methodology for designing PLDs and FPGAs in a system context.>
