Abstract
The essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation of the fresh leaves of Cymbopogon khasianus collected from the northeastern region of India was analyzed by GC/MS. It was found that the major components were geraniol (78.4%), geranyl acetate (7.3%), linalool (2.2%) and geraniol (1.6%).
