Abstract
Making a research of hybrid knowledge representation that is integrated organically by rule, frame and procedure, hierarchical knowledge base model, strategy of multilevel knowledge acquisition and object oriented inferential mechanism. Knowledge frame and generic form of knowledge representation were present, as was instanced by cylindrical gearing design. The purpose is to put forward an effective method and implement for the establishment of knowledge base in the development of the integrated system for ICAD.
