Abstract
In order to carry out the national public transportation priority strategy, the urban public transport information platform (UPTIP) is constructed to meet the needs of urban public transport operating companies, industry administrations and urban residents. The status of urban transportation information system and the demand of associated platform are analyzed firstly. The systematic target, main function and structure, as well as the processing system of data acquisition, treatment and expansion are then proposed. Further, to analyze the base public application systems in the platform, detailed analysis is provided through the related systems, which contain public enterprise operating management system, data acquisition and traffic analysis system, transit travel information service system, transit integrated emergency response system and public transport video surveillance system. Ideas and methods are provided for restructuring the urban public transformation information and improving the level of services of urban public transport system information.
