Abstract
This paper deals with the analysis of the transient and steady state processes in RC choppers. A difference equation describing these processes is obtained and solved. The analytical solution of the problem and the conditions of the transient and steady state existence in the chopper are found. Theoretical and experimental results both for transient and steady state conditions are compared and satisfactory agreements are obtained.
