Abstract
Because of current strong globalization trend, manufacturers and planners are more willing to cooperate in many aspects such as purchasing, production, planning and so on. Accordingly, multi-site capacity planning should also be done in order to maximize the overall interests. Firstly, the difference between multi-site capacity planning and traditional capacity planning is discussed. Then a two-stage multi-site capacity planning system is put foreword and mathematical model is constructed. Finally, the practical case is given to verify the validation of the proposed model.
