Abstract

The problem of renormalization scheme dependency that occurs when one employs mass independent renormalization is examined. In order to render this renormalization scheme viable in practical calculations, a way of decoupling heavy fields by demanding that the Appelquist–Carazzone theorem be satisfied at the outset is devised.
