Abstract
The COBIT 5 framework is a significant evolution of the widely used COBIT 4.1. This article explores ISACA's updated IT governance and management framework, and examines the business benefits of using COBIT 5. Readers will gain an understanding of the five principles of COBIT 5, and how the framework helps enterprises maximize the value of their information-the currency of the 21st century.
