Abstract
The preproduction crystals to be fabricated from cultured quartz was delayed, because of delays encountered in obtaining cultured quartz blanks. Some tests were pre-formed to determine the angle difference between fundamental and 3rd overtone and between 3rd overtone natural quartz versus 3rd overtone cultured quartz. Crystal design sheets as used on natural quartz are being followed on the cultured quartz except for a correction on angle. (Author)
