Abstract
The purpose of this article is to report on a continuing research effort to develop and unify the necessary theoretical foundations for an adequate approach to elicit construct entailment relations from repertory grid data. A theory of confirmation is offered that incorporates the basic tenets of personal construct psychology directly into the logic to form a basis for determining relevance, thus strengthening the logic and extending personal construct psychology in an important and consistent manner.
