Abstract

Abstract The genus Hebrolethaeus Scudder is not monobasic, but contains five distinct species. H. aurantiacus (Distant) from New Caledonia is redescribed. The four other species described as new are H. albus from the New Hebrides, H. concisus from New Caledonia, H. nigrus from the Loyalty Islands, and H. pullus from New Caledonia. H. concisus is also recorded from Norfolk Island, and a key to species is presented.
