Abstract

Abstract This paper looks at teleconferencing as a potential strategy in education and training. The possible uses are outlined with supporting briefcase studies both from the UK and USA. The types of teleconferencing available in the UK, their costs and a simple means of calculating costs are included. Some guidelines are given to prepare for and organize a teleconference.
