Abstract
Abstract This paper describes a new method of configuration of a cutoff waveguide filter with attenuation poles. When a filter with attenuation poles is constructed, often the degenerate mode is used or the filter configuration uses two paths. In this paper, a new configuration is presented in which the negative coupling between the TE101and TE201modes in a waveguide cavity is used. The test fabrication and experiment are carried out for both the cavity resonator loading and the dielectric resonator loading. The effectiveness of the present filter configuration and the design method is confirmed.
