Abstract
Configuration management is very important in products development process. In the description of CMMI configuration management process, maintaining the integrity of work products can be achieved by configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. This paper proposes an configuration management implement method and supporting system based on CMMI, in which configuration items are concerned with life-cycle phase related work products, configuration management activities are derived from process definition; configuration control is based on configuration item status model and is supported by workflow; multiple status reports, activities reports and measurement graphs are also provided; configuration audits are supported by checklists and problems management
