Influence on ecological environment due to the exploitation of coal resources in Shanxi

The exploitation of coal resources has a serious negative influene upon the ecological environment. Ecological destruction and environmental pollution problems caused by mining collapse of the exploitation of coal on the land resource, the water resources as well as the airpollution, geological disasters are focused on. By using the method of literature, questionnaire, this research estimates tne coefficient of economic loss by environmental protection agency, water conservancy, land and resources department, which gives a preliminary assessment of the eco-environmental damage by coal mining in Shanxi Finally, countermeasures about the rational development of coal resources and the protection of the ecological environment are proposed so as to achieve sustainable development in coal mining area.
