Abstract
This paper presents a method for the evaluation of the bit error probability of a both time hopping binary pulse position and pulse amplitude ultra-wideband modulation schemes (TH BPPM-UWB and TH BPAM-UWB). We will also study the reception of UWB system for the two modulation schemes with two different ways:detection by symbol (soft detection) and detection by frame (hard detection)and then will give a comparison between the different format in this context.
