Abstract

Summary:Renal papillary necrosis associated with indomethacin and phenylbutazone treated rheumatoid arthritis. A case of renal papillary necrosis is reported in a 55‐year‐old man with rheumatoid arthritis. He consumed 1·1 kg indomethacin and 5·5 kg phenylbutazone over the seven years prior to presentation.
