Abstract

Anticoccidial treatments tested on 480 birds during the starter (0–28 days) and finisher (29-day withdrawal time) periods were Robenidine, Monensin, Amprolium + Ethopobate, Clopidol, and Amprolium + Ethobate. Monensin depressed growth but anticoccidials had no effect on overall feed:gain ratio. Few birds showed coccidial lesions. Under minimal oocyst exposure the various anticoccidial combinations with the exception of monensin had little effect on market weight. Key words: Broiler performance, anticoccidials
