Abstract

Trichoderma Pseudokoningii is a new isolate of sludge which possessed a potentiality to saccharify sludge through its cellulose enzyme to various degrees. The product of saccharification was found to be an excellent substrate for SCP production by the yeast Candida tropical is which showed maximum proteins synthesis of 1.7 mg/ml on the 10th day of incubation period. Keywords: Bioconversion; saccharification; single cell protein
