Abstract
Biomass is a widespread source of renewable energy.Potential bioenergy sources include crops, forest residues, process residues from forest industries, agricultural residues, agrofood effluents, manures, as well as the organic fraction of municipal solid waste, separated household waste, methane from landfill areas and sewage sludge.
