Abstract
Abstract The effect of ginseng therapy on serum lipids was investigated in 15 postmenopausal women. The duration of the treatment was twelve weeks and the daily dose of the radix ginseng was 250 mg twice a day. No significant changes were found during ginseng therapy in the serum cholesterol, HDL‐cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
