Abstract

With the move to total quality management (TQM) the role of the quality control manager changes to quality leadership for the entire organization, providing total employee focus on the quality mission and goals. This paper views the changes in the quality control department with the implementation of TQM and offers a sample plan for integrating the quality department into a TQM programme.
