Abstract

This forum, the fourteenth in a series organized by the Medical Research Council's Committee on Protection against Ionizing Radiations (PIRC), was held at the Council's offices on 19th March 1971. It was chaired by Dr. R. H. Mole and attended by 32 people from 20 centres (Appendix). The views expressed by named speakers and the conclusions of the Working Party who reviewed the proceedings do not necessarily represent those of the other participants and have not as yet been agreed to by the Medical Research Council.
