Abstract

Abstract Two new species of Braconidae are described from North America. Illidops terrestris new species was reared from Elasmopalpus lignosellus (Zeller), and is the first described species of Illidops from North America. Bracon compressitarsis new species was reared from the boll weevils Anthonomus grandis Boheman and A. hunteri Burke and Cate. It is distinguished from other braconids previously recorded from boll weevils.
