Program downloadable adapter for home network

Abstract

This paper describes our new home network adapter that connects every household appliance to an existing home network. The adapter can download a conversion program which enables communication protocol between an appliance and the home network. The adapter has two controllers that make the electric current supplied from an appliance smooth, and the appliance can reduce the power supply capacity required for the adapter1.
