Abstract

Based on the core of RMI Aul200, a portable media player (PMP) is designed for multimedia entertainment. To acquire the best result, Linux2.6 kernel is used as the operating system. According to the layered architecture of system software, bottom driving program and multimedia application are designed for those specific equipments. The design and implementation of system hardware, software and file system are introduced in details. The equipment acquires excellent effect and has been put into production.
