Investigation of reverse engineering based on instant message software under Win32 platform

Abstract

The flourishing development of software constantly enlarges its effect on people's daily life. Since the programs designed under Windows OS are usually issued in a form of binary executable file and the source codes are unreachable, the method of disassembling is now used to do reverse engineering for research. This paper starts with Windows portable executable and analyse disassembling result by applying tool softwares.
