Abstract
Abstract — Database systems and computer networks technology led to distributed database development. In this article, a suitable and flexible middleware called CMDBMS is presented to control and manage database in distributed environment. In middleware the data are distributed entirely among the databases, and each database has its own database management system, and middleware performs as a controller in order to access the database management systems. This middleware hides the complexity of clustering while combining a set of heterogeneous database in a unit database, and it presents a database view for users. Also performance of CMDBMS in horizontal, vertical and complete scalabilities is better than centralized databases situation.
