What is the greatest challenge for our sector in the next 10 years?

Water supply, sanitation, and hygiene, is still the ‘poor relation’ compared to curative approaches within the global health community. This article makes the claim that sanitation and hygiene approaches still receive less emphasis than water supply. Even though the importance of safe sanitation and hygiene habits are acknowledged, governments and NGOs still prioritize the provision of ‘hardware’ over the ‘software’ of behaviour change and instilling the habits of handwashing.
