Abstract
Distribution of 3H-fucose labeled serum glycoproteins was investigated according to their isoelectric points and relative radioactivity. Typical glycoproteins only of Trichinella spiralis infected rats sera were isolated. A treating of the infected animals with mebendazol was performed, which results in larvae resorbtion. The appearance of glycoproteins is impressive, which are particular with mebendazol treated rats serum. Fucoproteins of healthy and treated animals sera were removed into the acid pH range. A rise of 3H-fucose total incorporation in treated rats sera glycoproteins was observed. These facts indicate existence of specific alterations in the containing fucose glycoproteins that are provoked by Trichinella spiralis attendance at the host.
