Abstract

The approached topic focuses on urban and food industry wastewater management and suggests the identification of the main methods of treatment of these, in the national and European current level. It was determined the efficiency of wastewater treatment station of Oradea and the system of wastewater from industrial food complex from Bihor county. During one year there were taken wastewater samples from the influent and effluent of every wastewater treatment plant. Their main features were analyzed: BOD5, COD, MTS, Nt, Pt. It has also been calculated the efficiency of each treatment plant based on the analyzed parameters. The efficient wastewater management for both urban wastewaters, as well as for those coming from the food industry is an important goal in the sustainable development strategy of each country.
