Abstract

Abstract Spearman's correlation coefficient ( r S ) for ranked data, often known as Spearman's rho, actually represents the standard Pearson product‐moment correlation applied to ranked data. Data on X and Y are replaced by their ranks, and then the correlation between the ranks is computed.
