Abstract
Ray-tracing algorithms, based on GO (geometrical optics) and GTD/UTD (geometrical theory of diffraction/uniform theory of diffraction) have been developed to predict characteristics of wireless propagation channel for urban microcellular environments. Several problems on how to implement these algorithms for coverage prediction are presented and some corresponding measures and proposals are also put forward in this paper.
