Abstract
The article discusses the determination of coefficients of linear expansion on a Chevenard dilatometer. It is pointed out that some parts of turbines from different materials can undergo, as a result of heating, the action of secondary stresses induced by the difference in the coefficients of expansion. An example can be a nozzle on a disk on a turbine, when the bore in the disk is less (by approximately 0.2 mm) than the diameter of the shaft; to 100 degrees: Experiments were conducted of preheating of the disk Stalin Metal Plant.
