Abstract
Report presenting a study of the effects of spoilers with fixed heights equal to 2.5 to 4 percent of the airfoil chord on the aerodynamic lift and moment flutter derivatives of oscillating two-dimensional airfoils. Results regarding the typical effects of spoiler deflection, effects of Mach number, and aerodynamic torsional instability boundaries for fixed spoiler heights as affected by airfoil profile are provided.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
