Abstract
Materials for use in dry friction may be developed on the basis of polytetrafluoroethylene modified by motor oil. It is shown that modification by motor oils considerably increases the wear resistance and reduces the frictional coefficient of the polymer. The friction and wear of polytetrafluoroethylene and its composites after modification by motor oils are considered.
