Abstract

Descriptions of Indoerythrops typicus , new genus and new species, and Pleurerythrops inscita , new record, from Indian waters are given. The new genus is distinguishable from the allied genera of the tribe Erythropini in having modified setae on the endopod of the third and fourth pleopods of the male. A detailed illustrated description of P.inscita Ii, emphasizing the variations from previous descriptions, is given.
