New complex space-time block codes for efficient transmit diversity

Branislav M. Popović

Open publisher page 7 citations

Abstract

The two new methods of complex orthogonal space-time block coding are proposed, which make possible a more efficient transmit diversity with larger number of transmit antennas. The new space-time block codes, based on modulatable orthogonal sequences, have the minimum code length for a given number of antennas, resulting in the minimised complexity of the receiver.
