The results of the surgical treatment in congenital muscular torticollis

21 children between 1-15 years of age who were treated for muscular torticollis were followed up 1 to years ( average 5 years months) after surgery. All patients had a distal open release of sternocleidomastoid muscle. For functional and cosmetic evaluation scoring system was used postoperatively. %80.9 good and satisfactory results were obtained.
