Abstract
Euphorbia maculata L., fig. 1. Mazandaran: Nowshahr Ecological Garden, -20m, Bazghandi, 34394B. This species has not been reported from Flora Iranica area. (Rechinger & Schiman-Czeika 1964) In Flora USSR (Hill 1949) has been reported from Caucasus and in this paper is reported for the first time for the Flora Iranica area and the flora of Iran. E. maculata is similar to E. granulata but its leaves are longer and have a purple-brown central blotch. Euphorbia consanguinea Schrenk, fig. 2. Khorassan: Sarakhs, Doulat-Abad, 300m, Joharchi, 19195. In flora Iranica E. consanguinea is reported from Afghanistan and Songaria and it is a new record for the flora of Iran. This species is similar to E. inderiensis Less. (probably correct name for this species is E. pygmea Fisch & Mey.), but its seeds are wighout caruncle.
