Abstract
Machining parameters have been investigated in this paper to study their influences on the machining error on machined part. While past studies and theoretical applications were used to analyse effect of some machining parameters, experimental investigation was applied to the others and the responses were analysed using classical analysis of variance (ANOVA). The paper attempt to analyse the behaviour of machining error on parts machined on a three axis vertical machining centre under the influence of various machining parameters. The machining parameters that influence the error on machined part was established and proposed for use within error prediction methodology.
