Typification of some Maloideae (Rosaceae) commonly cultivated in Norden

Abstract

In connection with a contribution of various genera of Maloideae (Rosaceae) to “Flora Nordica” lectotypes are designated for Crataegus sanguinea, C. punctata, Pyrus japonica (‵ Chaenomeles japonica ), Crataegus pyrifolia (‵ Photinia pyrifolia ), and Pyrus floribunda (‵ Photinia floribunda ) . A lectotype and an epitype is selected for Mespilus flabellata (‵ Crataegus flabellata ) . — Flora Nordica note no. 23.
