Abstract
In this paper, a comparison between radiation pattern characteristics for planar array and three - dimensional (3D) array antennas are provided. The systems are implemented in Matlab, starting from a linear array antennas. Simulation results using different numbers of antenna elements for planar array and three-dimensional array antenna are compared.
