Abstract
Australia is revising its existing recommendations concerning radiation protection in the light of guidance from the International Commission on Radiological Protection's Publication 60 and the International Atomic Energy Agency's revision of its Basic Safety Standards. Following public comment, the revised recommendations are expected to be adopted by the end of 1994.
