Abstract

Some considerations are described on the future figurc of PACS. These considerations have been made through the 2 years experience of HU-PACS [l] [2] which is aiming a hospital wide PACS, nontheless it still remains as a partially accomplished hospital wide PACS. 1 ) introduction Following items are important to discuss about what a PACS should be. a. Motivations for PACS. b. Kinds of PACS working to day c. Problems of present PACS After these items are presented, conclusions on a future shape of PACS will be presented as an example.
