Abstract

Ozone has been widely used in drinking water treatment because of its high oxidation and disinfection capability. In order to make the ozone oxidation reliable, the structure of 3 sections of the ozone contactor was employed. By changing the operation conditions of the contactor, focused was on ozone transfer effect. The results showed the best operation condition of ozone transfer was downstream in the first section and the ozone dosing ratio of 3:3:1 among three sections was preferred.
