Abstract

Abbasid dynasty means by Islam dynasty that build by first in Persia area that Islam influence escaped in Arabia area. Abbasid dynasty’s Mosque wishes to inherit early period Mosque how and search whether developed in this research. Study did by way to arrange and compares Mosque Architecture each age. Mosque Architecture erected according to law that is decided regardless of area by effect of Muhammad and Rashidun Caliphate early Islam period and Umayyad dynasty. However, Abbasid dynasty made Mosque Architecture that inherit Architecture style of early Islam era, and reflect regional element. Characteristic of Abbasid dynasty’s Mosque Architecture inherited style and elements of Mosque Architecture of early Islam era maximum. Also, Abbasid dynasty’s Mosque Architecture does to graft together traditional Architecture elements of Persia area according to Mosque Architecture. Also, introduced new Architecture elements and develop more Islamic Architecture. Mosque was completed almost arriving to Abbasid dynasty. In after this period, Mosque Architecture that regional special quality is included appears, but completed Mosque Architecture elements is inherited just as it is to Abbasid dynasty.
