Abstract
Results from the 53 cases in this study show that when the small cell aggregate of a young innervated larval forelimb blastema is explanted it is capable of undergoing growth and differentiation in vitro. However, the 39 noninnervated forelimb blastema controls showed little or no development in culture. This study further substantiates the nerve requirement in vitro.
