Abstract
Sierpinski fractal antennas have been shown to possess highly desirable properties, including the compact size. A general Sierpinski carpet, called the K-Sierpinski carpet, is proposed in this paper. The lowest resonant frequencies and the size reductions of the K-Sierpinski Carpet fractal antennas are studied based on Ansoft HFSS simulations. It is found that the size reductions of the K-Sierpinski carpet fractal antennas are almost determined by K -value and have a little relationship with the size of the antennas.
